Geylang Famous Beef Kway Teow

Fried Chinese, flat, rice noodles served with tender slices of beef in black bean sauce), whilst the one of your right has a stall selling frog’s leg porridge. If you intend to order something from both coffee shops, you can sit on either side of the road.


Rochor Beancurd & Famous Mian Jian Kueh

Geylang Lorong 17. Smooth, white curds made from soya beans are served in a bowl with syrup. It’s a popular dish for breakfast and as a dessert. Along Geylang Lorong 17 is a stall called “Famous Mian Jian Kueh” in a coffeeshop.


Old Airport Road Hawker Centre

One of the top hawker centres in Singapore, many of the cooks at the Old Airport Road Food Centre have been perfecting their dishes for over 20 years. Tuck into reasonably-priced chilli crab or barbecued prawns at and wash it all down with the refreshing soya bean drinks or fruit juices. There’s lots of room to sit so there’s rarely any of the hassle that comes with securing a table at other popular hawker centres.

G7 Sin Ma Live Seafood Restaurant

161/163 Geylang Road (Lorong 3) Claypot frog legs served with bubbling white porridge and a spicy thick kungpo sauce that smothers the succulent frogs. Frogs are kept live and freshly slaughtered every day to keep the meat tender. Other dishes of note include the hor fun (thick flat rice noodles) that’s stir fried with your choice of beef or venison slices, deep fried cereal prawns/crayfish.

Fruit Stalls around Sims Avenue

An entire stretch of roadside fruit stalls selling tropical fruits from durians to mangosteens. You can either pack it back to your hotel or eat on location where seats are available.
